Another special guest was announced by HEAVIEST on their upcoming album ‘The Wall Of Chaos-t’: none other than Stratovarius guitarist Matias Kupiainen. The musician recorded a killer solo for the track ‘Can not You See’.

Producer, composer and guitarist, Matias Kupiainen joined Stratovarius in 2008, taking the place left by Timo Tolkki.

This is the second special participation announced for ‘The Wall Of Chaos-t’. The first name presented was legendary vocalist Zak Stevens, known for his work with Savatage, Circle II Circle and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The singer recorded powerful vocals for the track ‘Hunted’.

Another novelty presented by HEAVIEST was the cover of the new album. The concept, direction and design to illustrate ‘The Wall Of Chaos-t’ were in the hands of singer-songwriter and designer Alax William. The cover depicts political/ideological walls built around the world, separating societies. Its destruction caused by the wars in an arid scenery represents the dreadful atrocities that we witness in the XXI century, especially in the East. The child means fragility and innocence in the face of the horror of pain and solitary death, in a place seemingly hopeless.

‘The Wall of Chaos-t’ is scheduled for release this semester and features the production of Guto Mantesso, co-production by HEAVIEST and renowned American artist Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Helloween, Sepultura, Judas Priest, Sebastian Bach, among others).

The first release of the album was the video for the track ‘Fire It Up’, released in March. Music can be viewed on the band’s social networks as well as major music streaming services (Deezer, Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, etc.). The clip presents an on overproduction that involved more than 50 specialists distributed in design, infrastructure, assembly, lighting, sound, image capture, coordination and editing. The initiative was supported by companies SowStore, Promo Led Eventos, Vitrine Animada, BZP, Lafstudio, Stone Guitar Company, Sem Destino Couro and Mondo Cão. Watch:
